Our Fall Shopping List

Stefy Allen

"I love transitioning to the cooler time of year. Since I've relocated to Miami, I no longer need heavy shearling coats and weatherproof boots, I am looking forward to months of layering ahead. You can find me still wearing lighter colors knowing that I love a winter-white outfit, but my wardrobe tends to get darker as it gets colder. "

Stefania Allen is the entrepreneurial spirit behind the private client and content teams. As Co-Founder & Creative Director of Editorialist, she relies on her wardrobe to carry her from investor meetings to stylish sessions with luxury clientele.

Dana Cohn

"Now that the weather has officially turned brisk, I'm adding a few strategic styling pieces to my closet like oversized shirts, transitional coats, and accessories in uncommon shapes. I’m on the hunt for new under-the-radar brands with unique details that not everyone will have. I pull inspiration from just about everywhere—my phone is filled with screenshots of outfit inspiration, runway looks, vintage imagery, and styling ideas. It helps to define your style when you can look at things you love all in one place."

Dana Cohn is the Head of Editorial Content and Creative at Editorialist. With a young, active family (including the evergrowing Edit team), comfort and confidence are key values that inspire Dana’s shopping habits.

Hannah McKinley

"I'm forever balancing my inner tomboy and ultra-feminine persona, and I love how each aesthetic comes together for fall. I'm gravitating toward wide-leg pants and retro sneakers (and relishing the return of Adidas Samba sneakers), worn with tailored separates—like a blazer or vest and a dainty gold necklace to offset a bare neckline. On the flip side, I've also fallen for Miu Miu's ballet flats—made for juxtaposing with a slouchy sweater and faux leather pants—for effortless everyday dressing. Consider this my fall uniform."

Hannah McKinley is a seasoned storyteller. Leading the team as Editorial Director, she is known to her team for her chic oversized glasses and polished style– walking the line between masculine and feminine.

Danielle Naer

"This fall, I'm loving all things cool, cozy, and roomy. I haven't been able to get Totême's Breton-striped sweater out of my mind—it feels like the perfect autumnal twist on a summer favorite. As someone who's struggling to part with my favorite season, I can't think of anything better. From there, relaxed wide-leg denim and cloud-soft leather accessories are ruling my wardrobe—like Khaite's suede hobo bag. Nothing looks quite as great with a turtleneck than a pair of dainty hoop earrings, which is good because mine from Aurate never leave my person."

As Senior Fashion Editor, Danielle Naer is the innovator who brings all things fashion to life at Editorialist. A distinguished writer and editor, you may have seen Danielle’s work previously on Vogue.com, The Zoe Report, and in her beloved How to Style It reels.

Katelyn Bernard

"Suiting and fall go hand in hand—I luxuriate in playing up the contrast of an oversized blazer with a belt to give it shape. Masculine frames that still feel attractive are on my wishlist this month, always coveting style from my UK icons Victoria Beckham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (who isn’t). To challenge the virility of suiting with a softer touch, I’m feeling fond of rosy, gray hues and trusty accessory brands like Walters Faith and Polène. "

Anchored between edit, social, and the private client app, Katelyn Bernard is a content connoisseur and expert Market Editor. When she’s not poring over the latest looks at market appointments, Katelyn is keeping tabs on jewelry trends and celebrity style—you might recognize red carpet moments with Shailene Woodley and Meryl Streep.

Cortne Bonilla

"The Fall is my absolute favorite time of year—it’s one of many reasons my 2023 wedding will be at the end of September. I’ve been having an obsession with all things cashmere, of course, and I’ll be investing in some cozy, oversized knits from Vince and Le Kasha that transcend any trend cycle. I’ve been looking at what’s missing from my wardrobe and opted for a staple new coat—this double-faced wool option I recently received checked all the boxes."

As Branded Content Editor of Fashion & Beauty, Cortne Bonilla is the mood board behind our fashion partnerships. True to her market edits, she strikes the balance between remaining trendless and cool emphasizing the silhouette.

Harry Archer

"Fall is my favorite season. But this year, having just returned from vacation, I find myself in a sartorial battle between wanting to wear summer clothes and leaning into cozy knits—especially Wales Bonner's Cashmere Blend Sweater Vest. The solution I have found is to pair vibrant summer hues (see: Séfrs yellow shirt) with autumnal staples like a classic trench coat and dark wash jeans for a balanced look that feels seasonally appropriate but still lifts my spirits. After all, dressing should make you feel good. Oh, and one piece that I definitely have my eye on this season is Loewe's Buckle Grained Leather Tote Bag. Its tan hue and clean appearance adds a sophisticated edge to your look."

Harry Archer’s novel outlook on fashion commentary is unrivaled. As Assistant Fashion Editor, Harry keeps a pulse on the latest designer collabs, celebrity news, and thrives in runway reviews—don’t miss his fashion week recap on Tiktok.

Tiffany Fernandez

"Nothing feels better than slipping on my go-to wardrobe staples like thin knits and combat boots for fall. I’m heading into the season with a focus on the perfect accessories that will carry me into spring. Inspired by classic silhouettes, my ideal fall look is polished."

Tiffany Fernandez sits on the private client team as a stylist working with the crème de la crème clients. A natural in front of the camera, Tiffany’s fresh take on style inspires her team and clients to do what they love most–shop!
